About Position  
Title: Inside Sales Manager   
Location: DHA Phase VI,Lahore
Reporting: Head of Sales / CMO 
Timing: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm  

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Inside Sales Manager to lead our inside sales team and drive revenue growth for our IT services company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the IT services industry. This position will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a team of inside sales representatives, and achieving sales targets. 

 

Responsibilities:  

Team Leadership: 

  • Recruit, hire, train, and motivate a high performing inside sales team. 

  • Set clear performance targets and provide ongoing coaching and guidance to maximize individual and team performance. 

  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, promoting teamwork and accountability. 

Sales Strategy and Planning: 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies, plans, and campaigns to generate leads, nurture prospects, and close sales in the IT services industry. 

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify sales opportunities and develop targeted approaches. 

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. 

  • Sales Performance Management: 

  • Set and track sales targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and other metrics to measure the team's performance. 

  • Provide regular performance feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and create development plans to enhance individual and team performance. 

  • Identify areas for improvement, implement sales methodologies, tools, and best practices to drive sales efficiency and effectiveness. 

Customer Relationship Management: 

  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by maintaining strong relationships with clients and addressing their needs and concerns. 

  • Oversee customer communication and collaborate with account management and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

  • Manage customer escalations and proactively resolve issues to maintain long-term customer relationships. 

Process Optimization: 

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and productivity. 

  • Identify and address bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the sales cycle and implement solutions to streamline workflows. 

  • Leverage sales technologies, CRM systems, and other tools to enhance the sales process and data analysis. 

Reporting and Analysis: 

  • Generate accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management. 

  • Analyze sales data and market trends to gain insights, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. 

  • Provide recommendations for strategic initiatives, pricing, and product/service enhancements based on sales analysis. 

Qualifications:  

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related fields; foreign qualification preferred  

  • 6-7 Years of experience as a Head of inside sales.

  • Technical expertise: Knowledge of IT services, solutions, and trends  

  • Leadership skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to ensure that everyone is working together towards common goals. 

  • Analytical skills: Ability to understand client requirements and market trends to develop sales strategies and identify new business opportunities. 

  • Customer focus: Understand the needs and challenges of customers and with a customer focused mindset to build strong relationships. 

  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM tools and sales productivity tools.  

  • Problem-solving skills: Identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently.  

KPIs: 

  • Sales Revenue: Total revenue generated by the inside sales team, including manager 

  • Sales Conversion Rate: Percentage of leads or opportunities that are converted into actual sales.  

  • Average Deal Size: Average value of each sale closed by the inside sales team.  

  • Sales Pipeline Value: Total value of all active sales opportunities in the pipeline. 

  • Sales Activity Metrics: Monitor various sales activities, such as the number of calls made, emails sent, demos conducted, or proposals submitted.  

  • Lead Response Time: Time taken by the inside sales team to respond to inbound leads or customer inquiries.  

  • Sales Cycle Length: Average time it takes to close a sale from the initial contact to finalizing the deal.  

  • Customer Retention Rate: Percentage of customers retained over a specific period.  

  • Cross-Selling/Up-Selling Revenue: Revenue generated from cross-selling or up-selling additional products or services to existing customers.  

  • Team Performance Metrics: Evaluate individual and team-specific metrics, such as individual sales targets, quota attainment, activity levels, and conversion rates.
