Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual SQA Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing manual test cases to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You should have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and hands-on experience in identifying bugs and usability issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to develop detailed test cases and test scenarios
- Execute functional, integration, system, regression, and usability testing
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or inconsistencies
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to resolve issues
- Report and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Develop and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Ensure software compliance with business and technical requirements
- Assist with user acceptance testing and provide post-release support as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications
- Familiarity with Agile development environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
