We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Performance + Automation QA Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications by developing and executing performance test plans, while also contributing to the automation testing framework. You will work closely with developers, DevOps, and product managers to maintain high-quality standards across the SDLC.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Plan, create, and execute performance/load/stress tests using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6.
Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to recommend solutions.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
Analyze test results, debug failures, and maintain detailed test documentation and reports.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage by writing clear, concise, and repeatable test cases.
Stay updated with emerging testing trends and best practices in automation and performance testing.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on both performance and automation testing.
Strong knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, k6, LoadRunner, etc.).
Proficient in scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, or Java).
Experience with RESTful API testing and tools like Postman, RestAssured.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
Solid understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and test lifecycle.
