Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Process Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our QA team. This role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and improving software development processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of QA methodologies, process auditing, and quality improvement, with an active ISTQB certification.
Define, implement, and maintain software quality processes and standards across development teams.
Conduct regular process audits and reviews to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards (e.g., ISO, CMMI).
Collaborate with development, testing, and project management teams to promote process adherence and continuous improvement.
Identify process gaps and propose corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Develop and maintain SQA documentation, including quality plans, audit reports, and metrics dashboards.
Support internal and external audits; assist in regulatory and compliance activities.
Facilitate root cause analysis for process-related issues and lead improvement initiatives.
Mentor teams on process best practices and ensure quality awareness throughout the SDLC.
Utilize metrics to evaluate process effectiveness and report KPIs to management.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
ISTQB Certified (Foundation level minimum; Advanced Level Test Analyst or Test Manager preferred).
3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Process Engineering.
Experience with quality models such as ISO 9001, CMMI, or SPICE.
Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
Hands-on experience in process audits and quality assessments.
Proficient in quality management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, QMS tools).
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
